Renewal Registrations need to be filed prior to December 31.
Registration is for a two year period. You may register by mail if you
provide the DNR with your registration number and a payment of $27.00. A
$5.00 penalty will be added if the payment is not processed by December
31. Make your check or money order payable to:

Requirements to Register a New Boat, ATV or Snowmobile
- The Manufacturer's Statement of Origin
- The Bill of Sale
- Application for Iowa Certificate of Title
Instructions for Filling Out the Application
- If there is no lien, enter "NONE" on the form
- If there is a lien, enter the lien-holder's name and mailing
address
- Date and Sign the Form
